LAVA

I’ve been diversifying my Figma animation skills, and trying to get creative with their applications. Check out the prototype here.

For the technically curious, this effect was achieved with a little pen tool, layer blur, and blend mode experimentation. Each animation is set to smart animate/ease out, and triggers after a 1ms delay, and executes over a period of 3800 ms. I’d love it if Figma offered a zero or negative value for the “after delay” period. I feel like the 1ms delay, while practically nothing, is still definitely enough time to hinder the completely fluid animation I was going for.
